History

VOOM HD Movies launched in 2004 as 'World Cinema HD' and featured films from around the world.

In May 2008, World Cinema HD was re-branded as VOOM HD Movies. In addition, the programming was changed as the channel no longer features films from around the world but not broadcasts Hollywood blockbusters.
