Working (1997-1999) is a situation comedy. Roles included Jimmy (Dana Gould), Hal the under-respected secretary, the perky Abby Cosgrove (Arden Myrin), and Steve Hytner as the acerbic DeLaney.
The show originally aired on NBC, and was later syndicated to USA Network (now a sister network to NBC).
Second season
The second season had a large cast change, as the characters of Jimmy and Hal were written out. This season also introduced Debi Mazar to the cast.
Theme song
The show used a cover of the song "Working in a Coal Mine" performed by Devo, set over top of scenes of work, including marching workers from the film Metropolis and frantic work scenes from Terry Gilliam's Brazil.
