- Reason: My current username violates wiki rules, as it represents a website, and I also want to use my birth name for my username; (Resumbmitting after I was told another was taken already). -- ☭ moizkhan 21:34, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

3_Easy → 3Easy
- Current name: 3_Easy (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: 3Easy (change username)
- Reason: Previously denied 24 October 2006. Sorry sir, I cannot simply create the new username as a new account - because the system tells me this to too similar to a already established username, i.e. my own. I am standardising this username across a number of web projects, and I beg for a non-workaround solution for seamless logons, i.e. approval of this request to remove the space underscore. I will work tirelessly as a low level admin, I promise. Please. -- 3Easy 02:37, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Horcado → JYMoore
- Current name: Horcado (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: JYMoore (change username)
- Reason: I have now decided that the original name came from someone who is not even a real friend, and that the nickname never really caught on, so I want to name myself something that lasts forever, an abbreviation of my real name. -- Horcado 02:29, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

- Current name: Galaeron_Nihmedu (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: Quinsareth (change username)
- Reason: I have come to dislike my user name, and would like to change my alias. Also, I think I can more closely relate to the fictional character Quinsareth. Furthermore, "Quinsareth" is shorter and doesn't contain a space. — Galaeron Nihmedu 00:02, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

TheEmulatorGuy → Teggles
- Current name: TheEmulatorGuy (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: Teggles (change username)
- Reason: I believe TheEmulatorGuy is derogatory to myself, with "Emulator" indicating I am supportive of piracy, and with "The" and "Guy" being typical username cliches. The new name also follows a change I am making on other websites, and I want to be recognized as the person. -- TheEmulatorGuy 05:25, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- User:Tegglest, which is quite close, exists. I recommend you select another name that is not so close to another username. --Durin 16:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Durin that it probably would be best to choose another name, though User:Tegglest only has 3 total edits, all made within a few minutes of each other back in July 2006. Good chance that they're not coming back. SuperMachine 16:53, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- User:Tegglest is short for Tami Eggleston, something completely unrelated to Teggles. Combine that with its amount of edits, proximity of edits, and their content (soapboxing), I don't see how it's a problem to use User:Teggles. --TheEmulatorGuy 19:08, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

DaBlade → Dark_Apostrophe
- Current name: DaBlade (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: Dark_Apostrophe (change username)
- Reason: I used DaBlade for several years, including when I registered on Wikipedia, but now I noticed that finding stuff about me online is way too easy using your average search engine, plus I felt like a change. I started changing to Dark Apostrophe (the name is derived from me installing Warsow once, and since I was anxious to try the game, I just entered ' as my nickname, which I later changed to Dark Apostrophe. Silly, I know.) on everything, email, IM, IRC, user and /home dir on my computer. So it's basically cause "DaBlade" is sort of deprecated, and it's easily tied to my name. -- DaBlade 21:20, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Chris5897 → ChrisDHDR
- Current name: Chris5897 (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: ChrisDHDR (change username)
- Reason: On realising that the numbers in my username did not signify anything (they were from a random name chosen on a game I once played) I thought of it as necessary to change my username to something that had significance. I therefore decided that my username will become ChrisDHDR, an extended version of my initals -- Chris5897 (T@£k) 16:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

- With less than 50 edits to your credit, you're not losing much by simply creating a new account with a username you desire. Please note that user renames leave a trace from the old account to the new account in the user rename log. Thus, your anonymity might be comprised. If you still wish to continue with the rename, please let us know. --Durin 14:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Levincage
-
- How can it be used by someone else? Is "Levincage" actually your account? Angela. 00:27, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Reply: yes, it is my account. The name however sounds simular to a third person (not at Wikipedia). I wasn't aware of that. To avoid possible future problems, and as I prefer that there should be no confusion, I'd like to change the name. Thank you for letting me know if this is possible.

- You have just four edits. Recommend you abandon User:Tosta_Ragazza and simply start a new account with whatever username you want (and is available). If you have this account renamed, there will still be a trail from it to the new account, thus compromising your privacy some. See [1] for a view of the rename log. --Durin 18:56, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Y Done I don't buy into the "just create a new one" buzz. If we can rename those with 20,000 edits, we can rename those with 2. Essjay (Talk) 10:26, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

- With just 11 edits to your credit, I recommend you simply start another account. If this username is changed, there will still be an entry in the logs that connects your real name to your new account name, thus at least somewhat invalidating your desire for privacy. See [2] for what the log looks like. --Durin 21:01, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Duckpuppy → DuckPuppy
- Current name: Duckpuppy (talk • contribs)
- Requested name: DuckPuppy (change username)
- Reason: This specific capitalization scheme is one I use everywhere possible and see it as a personal "trademark" style, if you will. As I have few (no?) edits yet, I hope that changing the capitalization is a small change for a bureaucrat with little to no risk. The matter may seem small, but it's of large importance to me. -- Duckpuppy 20:27, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
