WQJJ-LP (97.7 FM, "97.7 Fox FM") is a radio station licensed to serve Jasper, Alabama. WQJJ-LP is the only FM station that is licensed to Jasper who actually broadcasts from Jasper as a "live and local" station with a real studio within the city. The station is owned by North Alabama Public Service Broadcasters. The station was assigned the WQJJ-LP call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on December 30, 2003.[1]

The second oldest LPFM station in Alabama, WQJJ-LP originally went on the air during January of 2005 under the management of Jasper native Brett Elmore who managed the station for North Alabama Public Service Broadcasters which is headed by Bessie P. Hammond. Mr. Elmore then applied for a new station (WJBE) that is licensed to the community of Five Points, Alabama, and resigned as manager of WQJJ-LP due to FCC regulations preventing his involvement in both stations. Because of this, WQJJ-LP temporarily went silent in mid-April 2008 but came back on the air under new management in July 2008.[2] It now airs an Adult Contemporary music format.[3][4]
