Johnny Spasm here. I'm new to the whole Wikipedia thing. In fact, I'm not even sure if I'm doing this right. I've uploaded 2 images onto Wikipedia that keep getting removed because they potentially violate copyright laws. I assure you that they do not as I own both images myself. I also keep having the articles I wrote either deleted or removed entirely for the same reason. In both cases, I wrote part of the material myself, and part of it is NRLCA owned. And as an officer in the NRLCA and union representative, I have permission to rewrite that material —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnny Spasm (talk • contribs) 11:56, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Gashbell1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gashbell1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Both characters have appeared in an anime/anime film made in Japan. Hence, my reason for doing that is so. The anime/manga categories are made for characters who have appeared in an anime, manga, or both. Is this understandable? ~I'm anonymous
- I see what you mean. If their origin is from a video game then they're in the fictional character cats., regardless. By the way, I've been populating Category:Anime and manga characters who can teleport. Perhaps you can assist me? ~I'm anonymous
- Heads up: I've gotten all the anime/manga characters I was able to find within Category:Fictional characters who can teleport. I'm done with that albeit is there someone in Zatch Bell! that can teleport? ~I'm anonymous
- Hey, you never got back at responding to me. Are there any more characters in Zatch Bell! with super powers, such as teleporting or super strength/speed? From what I remember vaguely from the show was that they used magic and spells for whatever the reason; other than that, I couldn't find anything about powers and abilities for them. Could you help me out? ~I'm anonymous

Shun Goku Satsu, Evil Ryu
'In the Street Fighter Alpha series, there is a selectable version of Ryu called Evil Ryu known in Japan as Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Ryū. He was originally introduced in a Street Fighter Zero manga series authored by Masahiko Nakahira and later adapted in the Street Fighter canon by Capcom. He is the version of Ryu should he succumb to Satsui no Hadou, and depicts Ryu's struggle to resist the urge. Gameplay-wise, Evil Ryu has more powerful attacks than the original, strikes faster and possesses some of the attacks of Akuma (such as the Shun Goku Satsu). The only time Evil Ryu actually appears in Street Fighter canon is at the end of the first World Warrior tournament. According to the Street Fighter Alpha series, Sagat, the defending champion, crushed Ryu, and then extended his hand to help Ryu up after thinking that he had won. Ryu was so consumed with the desire to win that he gave into the Satsui no Hadou and executed a Metsu Shoryuken, scarring Sagat's chest and his pride.
Like Akuma, Evil Ryu has a signature symbol that appears when he performs the Shun Goku Satsu.
he is freakin canon so just let it go. admit your wrong.

Guilty Gear statistics
- I'm a big fan of cleaning up character articles, but I'm curious why you removed the statistics stuff from these articles, as they're relatively easy to verify (even if they are cruft). However, I'm kind of hoping for a good reason because then I can remove the much debated cruft from the Street Fighter articles, too. ^_^ JuJube (talk) 09:40, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- I was all for the "theme songs" section in the infoboxes until it just got to the point where some characters (Sol Badguy for one) had like 8 songs associated with them and it was getting too cluttered. And blood type has always been rather trivial. So all that was left of any worth was birthplace. Now Template:Guilty Gear character is so feeble it should probably be replaced with something more generic. Over at the SF articles, I'd say that Birthplace and Fighting style are the only too in-game sections of the infobox that need to be kept.--SeizureDog (talk) 20:33, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
I have very little experience in AfD matters, and am asking for your input before nominating an article for deletion, because, quite frankly, I do not want to be seen as someone who capriciously nominates articles which do not meet AfD standards.
If you have time, please take a look at this article. It was created by the person who—as the intro asserts—is the very person who coined the term. Most of the edits are by that person. Most, if not all, of the sources link back to this person. I mean, at best it appears to me to constitute OR, at worst, self-promotion. But maybe I'm seeing it wrong. What do you think?
I selected you and many other editors pretty much completely at random; I picked one day's AfD archives, and clicked on the talk pages of the first two or three dozen editors' talk pages I came across. I hope that in using this selection method, I will get editors who are well-versed in AfD policies, yet who also represent a good cross-section of AfD philosophies. I will monitor your talk page for your response. Thanks. Unschool (talk) 07:08, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Merging Sailor Crystal into Sailor Senshi?
Hi JuJube, I just thought I'd drop you a note to say that as part of the "let's make this look more notable" reorganisation of Sailor Senshi, I've proposed that Sailor Crystal be merged into it, as the Sailor Crystal kind of makes a Sailor Senshi. I seem to remember that you were particularly proud of the Sailor Crystal article, so I thought I'd let you know directly. :) -Malkinann (talk) 03:28, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Martin Lukes and Creovation
How did Creovation get even nominated for deletion let alone agreed for deletion? That's crazy! Check it: Google search ElectricRay (talk) 16:29, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- dude you clearly don't read the FT, do you? Just because you've never heard of it, if others see it as valuable (trust me - it's part of the lexicon of the city of London as a result of the FT), then why delete? Anyhow, just wanted to point that out. ElectricRay (talk) 18:32, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- jujube - fyi the demise of Martin Lukes today warranted an entire page of coverage in the print edition, an editorial in the print edition and a video Q&A on the FT site. CreovationTM (and IntegethicsTM) is prominently mentioned throughout. I think that's plenty notable enough to justify an article.ElectricRay (talk) 13:30, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Moving and partolling
Hi, JuJube. I see your name a lot on new page patrol and AfD, seems you are doing plenty of good work there. I'd like to ask you though, could you make sure you mark pages as patrolled before you move them. They are a proverbial bitch to mark patrolled after they have been turned into a redirect. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 11:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey there!
Call me crazy but I have a feeling that the anonymous IP who removed the speedy tag twice will remove your tag again. I wouldn't be surprised if the subject of the article isn't the person doing that. Since nothing is stopping them from removing that speedy notice, maybe you should put up the article for an AFD debate. That way the nomination can't be deleted and I'm pretty certain it's going to end up being deleted. I fail to see any notability and I will definitely vote delete if I get the chance. Something to think about. Peace! SWik78 (talk) 14:03, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

You moved List of beatmania games to List of Beatmania games. Unfortunately, the correct spelling of the title is, in fact, with a lower-case b. I have moved it back to the former title, and will be watching the page, as I created it, and am probably more familiar with the series than you are. Please do not move the article without discussing doing so on the article's talk page in the future. Thanks. Phuzion (talk) 12:30, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Rollback
Hello JuJube, I have granted rollback rights to your account. The reason for this is that, after a review of some of your contributions, I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended use of reverting vandalism: I do not believe you will abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. Acalamari 04:18, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome. :) Yes, there is no confirmation screen with rollback: it just reverts the edit, which is why you have to be careful with rollback, but since you do a lot of vandal-fighting, rollback will be a big help to you. :) Good luck. Acalamari 19:16, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Question
Why did you use rollback on the following edits?
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alexis_Rhodes&diff=prev&oldid=185806599
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Adrian_Gecko&diff=prev&oldid=185806581

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chumley_Huffington&diff=prev&oldid=185806499
Remember that rollback is for vandalism-reversion only, not to revert good-faith edits, or legitimate PROD or AfD templates. Acalamari 19:32, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I would appreciate a response to this. Thanks. Acalamari 21:27, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

- No worries. Thank you for the response. I wasn't about to remove your rollback rights over one event: I just wanted an explanation. You made a mistake, and you realize that. No harm done then. Thanks. Acalamari 23:38, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Keys/Kiess and Gurabu/Grubb
The main Gash subbing/translating site, anime-destiny, and all other groups related to it refer to them as the former. There aren't any English versions of their names, so your argument is null and void.Buh6173 (talk) 21:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

I found some stuff on the page for the Muzza Canal, in Italy, which I've deleted now.
You admonished the author on 22 Sept 2006 for re-creating deleted articles, but there’s also a link there to an existing article that post-dates it.
I was curious; can you shed any light on this? Do you know why was it deleted in the first place? (The current article seems OK’ish).

Thanks...
Thanks for the note on my talk page - it is appreciated. That article has been the source of no end of displeasure for me over the past few months. I've no particular interest in the subject, but ended up there because of an editor (User:EverybodyHatesChris) who was evading an indefinite block with a series of sockpuppets. Sadly, I suspect that this string of rapidly changing IPs is the same editor, based on the editing patterns, the abusive language directed towards me, and the way he responded to your comment. Please let me know if you have any problems with him, as he has a tendency to stalk people who "offend" him. (I've been attacked through a false "Ckatz" page on Yahoo... and he really cut loose in a similar fashion against an editor on Wiktionary who cleaned up his vandalism of my page there.) Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 23:50, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Judge Judy
The page blankings do not appear to be vandalism at all, rather this is a content dispute, and while the IP address repeatedly attempts to explain the reasoning behind their edits, you are using the rollback function to revert what appears to be a good faith edit. The article has been fully protected. Please take it to the talk page and hammer out a consensus with the IP user in question. I will be asking them to do the same --Jayron32.talk.contribs 17:02, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- If you could provide evidence as such, I would consider blocking the IP addresses in question and removing article protection. There is nothing in the edits themselves that shows obvious bad faith in themselves, but if you have proof that this is a blocked user evading their block, please provide difs so that I may act appropriately. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 17:39, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

- Hi - I'm not having a go at you, it's not a problem if you want to vote Keep; it's just a problem if your vote seems to indicate that the ArbCom injunction suggests that others should do so too. I think this is the problematic point - I have reworded the FICTWARN template so that it is clearer too. Hope this helps, Black Kite 20:10, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Controversy
How in the hell was the removal of the decidedly uncontroversial and pointless "Most Commonly-Used Types of Card Formations" (which just explains that people have different tastes in deck strategies and is in no way a controversy in the game) with an explanation of the split between OCG and TCG and Konami's recent and very well known AND controversial attempts to steer the game towards a beatdown/destruction only meta, and their practice of creating then dropping new, and ignoring old deck types, biased? Have you even played the game, or talked with any actual duelists? It's not biased, it's fact, and as a duelist, I'm insulted that you think that the fact that "this duelist likes the Crystal Beasts, while this other one likes Volcanic Burn" is more of a legitimate "controversy" in the game than the OCG vs. TCG fan (and now distributor) war, and Konami's practices with new decktypes and the ban list. 66.233.188.231 (talk) 20:43, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- It may have been "neutral", but it is not controversial in the least, and it has the same amount of "research" as you claim my articles had. Again, what the hell is so controversial about one duelist liking one deck, and someone else liking another? Aside from the flame wars I keep on encountering whenever someone mentions the Elemental Heroes in a YGO forum, I see absolutely no arguments or controversy over the fact that different people like dueling with different decks, at all.
Also, how in the hell did my articles "smack of bias"? The OCG vs. TCG war has been known and debated for years by fans of the game, and UDE themselves have admitted that the recent changes they made to the TCG was to distance it from the OCG. And again, anyone with eyes that plays the game can see what Konami is doing to the game, recently, and there has been MANY complaints from the fans about it. I'm sorry, but I don't see how my articles are "original research" or "biased", especially when I wrote them to be as UNbiased as possible. 66.233.188.231 (talk) 21:03, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

You are not an admin. Your knowledge of CSD A7 as evidenced in your edit is not good. You should not have deleted the tag, but left it for an admin to do. --Tagishsimon (talk) 01:05, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Why Tagishsimon nominated for deletion the article Hawaiian Wikipedia?, can you help me. --MisterWiki do ya want to speak me?, come there! - 01:19, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Regarding your FightersGeneration point
The issue with Frankie (the site's webmaster) seems mainly to lie on the fact he steals rips from other people without their consent, and the biography info on his site is pulled out of his butt half the time. Despite that though listing the actual sources of artwork vs his site might prove to cause a few complications. Awhile back I was trying to put up some artwork for Rock Volnutt in the page's character box. User:A Man In Black stepped in and gave grief, and then when the artwork was cited as being from a capcom artbook, proceeded to claim that fair use was invalid, and you can guess the rest. So as lousy as the site is, sticking with it as the source might prove the least mess.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 00:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
User:Danny Daniel is banned, but SSP is where one would go to determine whether or not User:DardGarnd is the same person. It doesn't seem all that obvious to me. Regardless, he wasn't editing when he was added to AIV, so that isn't where the report belongs. Evil saltine (talk) 22:51, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for making me smile...
I liked the beginning of your comment at this AfD very much. Cheers for making a relatively boring evening slightly different! —αlεx•mullεr 00:45, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the notice. I see that he didn't give any reasons for reverting the move. As such, I've moved the page back and gave an explanation of the move on the talk page. I've also null edited the redirects to prevent an edit war and to encourage a discussion. --Farix (Talk) 02:42, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Rush
That edit may have been pure stupidity but it sure was hilarious! Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 03:59, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Intensity
Do you think this might have been a little harsh? It wasn't exactly a helpful edit, but it was their first edit ever, and it definitely wasn't a deliberate attempt to screw up the wiki. Maybe start with something milder? --Masamage ♫ 22:53, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- It happens; dumb stuff in large quantities from random strangers accounts for the vast majority of edits to Sailor Moon articles, and that gets old faaaast. But all I figured needed doing was throwing some cookies at the same talk page, which I've done, so it looks good enough to me now. :) --Masamage ♫ 22:59, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Admin locating
I've got a bit of a...dilemma...with an an article I'm working on regarding what sources I can cite for notability: I've got people arguing against sites like Kotaku, Joystiq, Boing Boing Gadgets, and InsertCredit being valid references despite the sites having established rapport with commercial companies and even interviews with head guys (especially joystiq. Hell they interviewed Mario's creator x.x') Anyway the argument is they don't count because "they're blogs."
So I stop bugging you with this long winded post, given you have more familiarity with who's who here, could you point me at any reasonable wp admin I can make my case regarding these references with that you know of? It's really my last resort.
P.S. Get well soon.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 04:12, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Actually it's not a fighting game in this case, it's this one I've been writing (and reached the point where nothing else but reception can be said): Final Fantasy VII (Famicom).--Kung Fu Man (talk) 04:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
FASHION AFD
You were involved in an AFD for Scene (Fashion Trends) and seem familiar with both it and a related AFD. I'm currently commenting on an AFD here [1] and think it might be related to those previous articles. Since I have never seen either of the previous articles can you shed some light on if this is part of some kind of article recreation?--Torchwood Who? (talk) 13:19, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

FF7 Fam Article Redux
Something is honestly stinking to high heaven here and I don't know the proper way to approach dealing with it. 85.17.237.211 *seems* to be ringleading sock puppet IPs over there, because the responses after his keep coming from single purpose IPs, or those that'd been involved in vandalism before. And one account, User:Foxit22, ended up fire-and-forget. Though the irony in the name is pretty present too: "fox it".
Additionally the guy that even started the AFD seems to have been an account in a similar boat: he targetted it, the category, the screenshots, and Kart Fighter all for AFD nomination in one fell swoop. Additionally the history of the FF7 Famicom page will show that, at the time, he vandalized the article before posting the AFD, making a mess of the reference tags.
I don't know fully what's going on here, but I do know someone is really damn determined to nix that article and they're not playing by the rulebook. Any advice on who to talk to?--Kung Fu Man (talk) 04:53, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

fansites do not constitute a reliable source
fansites do not constitute a reliable source I agree, that's so true, but what about the manga you download from the fansites? is that a reliable source? and yeah sorry about the 3 reverts >_< i have been all drugged up today to flu tablets, i dont think i will edit till i stop using them--The Last Uchiha 10:01, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Civility
Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:125.238.0.63. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors and remember to be civil, even when others aren't. Stifle (talk) (trivial vote) 12:23, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism warnings
Hi there. Please avoid insulting the vandals and instead use more innocuous warnings. Consider user talk templates. Cheers. :) --slakr\ talk / 12:25, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Just a head's up
Since nobody objected, went ahead and combined the Templates "SNK character" and "Capcom fighting character" into "SNK-Capcom character", given the large amount of shared infobetween the two anyway. Probably more useful for any future info/changes you do to the pages, though the old ones redirect to it just fine (all of them o.O Man there was a lot...)--Kung Fu Man (talk) 01:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
IP jumper
Good thought; I went ahead and semiprotected all those articles for one week. Hopefully that'll be long enough to instill hopelessness and boredom. :P --Masamage ♫ 04:55, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Cage/Street fighting
Try not to be such a dick next time, Nathan Gill is a cage fighter, and I've heard that there is a correlation between Nathan Gill and Gill, since both are fighters and have the same name. Don't always assume that you know everything. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.143.59.192 (talk) 00:13, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Keep on eye on...
I know you are keeping up with serial sockpuppeteer and hoax article writer Asad Aleem. I think I have just discovered a new user to be one of his puppets...User:Mark Linton. Their edit patterns are very similar: creating tag team articles, PPV articles, and a load of articles in userspace. Also, he recently re-emerged after I indefinitely blocked User:Jeff Money. I can't prove it for now, but since you have an evidence page, I thought you might like to add the name and keep an eye on his edits. If he slips up and reveals himself, I can block him. Thanks. Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Banditkeith.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wisdom89 (T / C) 19:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
