The U. S. Grant Hotel is a historic hotel in San Diego, California's Gaslamp Quarter. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The hotel was built by Ulysses S. Grant, Jr., son of president Ulysses S. Grant. Grant bought an earlier hotel on the property and demolished it to construct the current hotel in 1910. Noted architect Harrison Albright designed the hotel.
Famous guests have included Woodrow Wilson, Charles A. Lindbergh, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Mamie Eisenhower.
The hotel is now owned by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation and is operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts as a part of their Luxury Collection.
