Trygve Allister Diesen 

Trygve Allister Diesen (born 1967) is a film director and screenwriter that works in the US and Europe. Diesen, part Norwegian and part Scottish, graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, and has a comprehensive background in screenwriting and directing. His first American film "Red" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008. He has also written and directed two Norwegian feature films - "Isle of Darkness" and "Hold My Heart". Hold My Heart was Norway's official submission for the 2003 Academy Awards. Diesen is also a prolific TV-director, and creator of the Scandinavian miniseries Torpedo.
