Troy Van Leeuwen (born January 5, 1970 in Los Angeles, California)[1] is an American guitarist who currently plays lap steel guitar, electric guitar, keyboards and sometimes bass in Queens of the Stone Age. Van Leeuwen began his career in his first band Jester with vocalist Eric Book,citation needed and played guitar for Failure, 60 Cycle and A Perfect Circle before joining Queens of the Stone Age in 2002.[2] Van Leeuwen also fronts his own band, Enemy.
