The Sunday Business Post

The Sunday Business Post is an Irish national Sunday newspaper published by Post Publications Limited [1]. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, Ireland the average weekly circualtion was 53, 871 in 2007[2]. The paper's first edition appeared on 26 November 1989. While the group's other major newspaper titles, the Irish Examiner and Evening Echo, are based in Cork, the Post is published in Dublin.

The paper describes itself as "Ireland's Political, Economic and Financial Newspaper". It is a general newspaper with a strong emphasis on commerce, politics and financial markets. Three supplements are published weekly with the newspaper: The Market, which concentrates on Irish Stock Exchange and company news, Agenda, an entertainment and features magazine, which until recently was published as a broadsheet supplement, and a property supplement. Monthly, a Computers in Business magazine is also included.

The newspaper's editorial line has in the past been strongly Republican, especially under former editor Damien Kiberdcitation needed. This has become less obvious recently, although the paper still takes a stronger line on issues such as Northern Ireland than most others. Among the paper's columnists are David McWilliams and the broadcaster Tom McGurk.

Cliff Taylor is the current Editor. The paper is printed in Cork by Webprint.
