The Gospel is a 2005 film directed and written by Rob Hardy. It was released in the United States on October 7, 2005. The film retells the Parable of the Prodigal Son in a modern context.
Plot
When tragedy strikes a young singer, David Taylor, turns away from God and his father's church. He returns to the church a few years later to find the once-powerful congregation in disarray.
