The Bold Ones: The New Doctors (also known as The New Doctors) is a medical drama that lasted for four seasons on NBC, from 1969 to 1973[2].
The series was about the life of Dr. David Craig (E.G. Marshall), an extremely successful neurosurgeon who is become so well-known and well-renowned in his field that he is able to open his own very exclusive clinic called The David Craig Institute of New Medicine.
Craig and his two bold young charges, chief of surgery Dr. Ted Stuart (John Saxon) and Paul Hunter (David Hartman), work here. Dr. Stuart was later replaced by Dr. Cohen [3] (Robert Walden).
The New Doctors was part of The Bold Ones, a rotating series of dramas that also included The Protectors (with Leslie Nielsen), The Lawyers (with Burl Ives) and The Senator (with Hal Holbrook). The New Doctors was the longest running of the four series.
David Hartman was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for portraying Paul Hunter on this show[4]. This was the only nomination for the show (according to the IMDb.) There are currently no DVD or VHS releases for this series.
Synopsis
Together with his two assistants Dr. Paul Hunter and Dr. Ted Stuart, Dr. David Craig saves millions of lives a day in his own exclusive clinic. He gets cases with kidney transplants, depressive mothers, patients that won't communicate with him and his wife Lynn who also comes by some times. Every episode lasted 60 minutes, and like other medical drama series Dr. David Craig gets in touch with rare patients or diseases, like House or ER.

Episodes
After the pilot episode, To Save a Life the series became a big hit, it lasted for three more seasons and eventually ended with the 16th episode of fourth season, And Other Things I May Not See.
