Team Texas is an American football team that will begin play in April 2008 as part of the All American Football League. The team will play its home games in Houston, Texas at Rice Stadium.
The team is coached by John Jenkins a former head coach for the Houston Cougars from (1987-1992). Jenkins was also the Offensive Coordinator for the Houston Gamblers of the now defunct USFL. Jenkins also played college football at the University of Arkansas.
