Tabbed browsing refers to use of internet browsers which allow multiple tabs to be opened, each showing different pages. As of 2006 most web browsers support tabbed browsing, IBrowse was one of the first tabbed browsing interfaces, it was followed by Opera in 2000, Mozilla in 2001, Konqueror in 2003, and Safari in 2003.
Browsing became more interesting after tabbed browsing mode appeared. It allowed users to utilize the time between the complete opening of two or more different web pages. Later, Internet Explorer also included this feature.
