This article contains general information and statistics regarding the Sydney Roosters 2008 season in the National Rugby League. In the 101st year of professional rugby league in Australia, the Roosters celebrated their 101st season, the only club to spend every season in the competition. In 2007 the Roosters finished the regular season in 10th place.

Trial Games
Before playing trials against any other National Rugby League teams, the Roosters took on three regional teams at Port Macquarie Regional Stadium. The matches contained only 30 minutes of play each.[2]
