Starpoint Central School District

Starpoint Central School District is a public schooling system consisting of elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school institutions. It is located in Pendleton, New York. The school mascot is the Spartan, and the school colors are garnet and gray. Athletic programs include football, baton twrilling, figure skating, wrestling, soccer, swimming and diving, field hockey, basketball, tennis, volleyball, track, cross country, baseball, and club ice hockey.
Starpoint is perhaps most infamously known for being the school of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, who attended Starpoint for his entire youth, graduating in 1985.
In February of 2008, Starpoint's Superintendent Dr. Douglas Whelan proposed the idea of a school uniform. If the idea is implemented, Starpoint would be the first public school district in Niagara County to have uniforms.
