On June 1, 2007, Software AG acquired webMethods, Inc. (NASDAQ: WEBM) for approximately $546 million. Since its acquisition of webMethods, Software AG has discontinued the Crossvision brand, and is now selling the combined SOA and integration portfolio under the webMethods brand.
