The 4th San Francisco Film Critics Circle Awards, honoring the best in film for 2005, were given on 12 December 2005.

Brokeback Mountain received three awards; Best Picture, Director (Lee) and Actor (Ledger). Reese Witherspoon won the award for Best Actress for her role in Walk the Line and Caché (Hidden) got the award for Best Foreign Language Film.
