Preble was a town in Brown County, Wisconsin, United States.

History

The town was founded on July 13, 1859, and was named after the United States admiral Edward Preble.^[1][2] In 1964, the Town of Preble was consolidated with the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin.^[3][4]

Education

Green Bay's Preble High School is a legacy of the former town.
