No. 1 In Heaven is the eighth album by Sparks. Released in 1979 it renewed interest in the band after disappointing sales of albums like Big Beat and Introducing Sparks. Several tracks were released as singles around the world. "Beat the Clock", "The Number One Song In Heaven" and "Tryouts for the Human Race" were all released on picture disc/coloured vinyl with exclusive remixes/edits. "La Dolce Vita" was also released as a single in some European countries in a new edit.
