Félix Danilo Gómez (born August 26, 1979), known by his stage name (DJ) Flex and Nigga, is a Panamanian reggae artist. He is best known for his single, "Te Quiero" (Spanish for "I want you" or "I love you"), from his debut album, which spent many weeks at number one on the Mexican charts in early 2008 and Billboard magazine's Hot Latin Tracks in the United States. It reached #91 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.[1] The album also reached number one on the album charts.[2] There are two remixes of the song - one features Arcangel, the other features Belinda. The latter version reached #87 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in May 2008.
In Mexico, he says he adopted the name Nigga, because another Panamanian singer said "He sang like a black guy from Jamaica." For the release in the U.S., he adopted the less controversial name Flex, and references to his Mexican name were removed from the material for American distribution.
