Rap and urban music have conquered Moroccan big cities. Using a blunt street dialect (urban darija), Moroccan rappers claim social and politic protest messages. They hope for a better Morocco and regularly denounce corruption, misery and unemployment. Rap, which appeared like a new musical style, became quickly a favorite for many Moroccans, especially the youth.
Morocco Street Life is the title of the first documentary one devoted to the Moroccan scene hip-hop, carried out by Dj Key, one of the precursors of the kind.
