Mont Blanc de Courmayeur (4,748 m), in the Mont Blanc massif, between Italy and France, is the second highest mountain in the Alps.
Lying to the south-east of the summit of Mont Blanc, to which it is joined by Col Major, the mountain can be ascended via the Bosses ridge, or the Peuterey and Brouillard ridges.
