The Mindong Wikipedia is the Mindong Chinese edition of Wikipedia, run by the Wikimedia Foundation. The project was started on September 30, 2006. The writing system used in Mindong Wikipedia is Foochow Romanized, a romanized orthography based on the standard Fuzhou dialect that was introduced by Western missionaries in the 19th century.
