Mike Johnson (born October 3, 1974 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada) is a professional ice hockey right wing currently playing with the Kölner Haie of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
Playing career
Johnson was signed right out of college (Bowling Green State University) by the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 16, 1997 and he made his debut with the Leafs within days. As of the last completed NHL season, Johnson has played 661 career NHL games, scoring 129 goals and 246 assists for 375 points. Johnson currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, where he played his Junior hockey with the Tigers. On October 4, 2007 he signed a contract with the St. Louis Blues. After playing minimally during the first part of the season, collecting 2 goals, 3 assists with a -4, Mike suffered a season-ending shoulder injury.
