The Mesopause is the third level of the atmosphere which is the boundary between two layers, mesosphere and the thermosphere. The temperature of the mesopause is the coldest temperature throughout the atmosphere. A large debate is going on mesopause height. Some sources claim that there are two mesopause levels^{citation needed}.
