Litchfield Historic District
|
Litchfield Historic District, in Litchfield, Connecticut, is a notable example of a typical late 18th century New England town. The district was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1968.[1] This residential district is anchored by the Litchfield meetinghouse (1829) and is predominantly Georgian with clapboarding, gables and hipped roofs.[1]
