This is a list of the top 100 newspapers in the United States by largest reported circulation.[1] These figures are compiled by the Audit Bureau of Circulations for the six months ending March 31, 2007, and represent each paper's highest circulation of the week, typically the Sunday edition. An asterisk (*) indicates two papers who publish a combined edition under a joint operating agreement. Some newspapers whose circulation figures are under dispute, such as the Chicago Sun-Times, do not appear on this list.
