The following is a list of counties and cities under the jurisdiction of the Republic of China (Taiwan) ranked by area. Data was sourced from the Ministry of the Interior.

Notes:
1. Only the cities of Taipei, Kaohsiung, province-administered cities and counties are listed. County-administered cities are excluded.
2. Kinmen and Lienchiang are under the jurisdictions of Fuchien Province of the Republic of China (not to be confused with the Fujian Province of the People's Republic of China). All other counties are part of the Taiwan Province.
3. Excludes Wuchiu Townsip.
4. Data from Lienchiang County Government.
