Team John Village Automotive (Team JVA) is a british motor racing team founded by the former Formula Ford champion John Village in 1980 and headquartered in Chesterfield, England.
History
The team was originally founded as a garage and race preparation business. In the 80's JVA ran Formula Ford, winning the spanish championship with Victor Lopez and international level winning the Formula Ford World Cup with Vincenzo Sospiri in 1988.
In the 90's, the team challenge the Formula Vauxhall Lotus. Kelvin Burt win the 1991 championship and Oliver Gavin beame runner-up in 1992. JVA ran also in Formula Vauxhall Junior and won it in 1996 with Tim Mullen.
The Team JVA involve in the Italian Formula 3000/Euro Formula 3000 since 1999 with Edenbridge Racing, Arden Team Russia, B&C Competition and race its own cars since 2002. In 2005, it ran on the rival Pro Series, renamed International Formula Master in 2007.
Since 2005-06, the team collaborate with A1 Team Canada[1] in the new A1 Grand Prix championship.
