Jade Raymond (born 1975 in Montreal, Canada[1][2]) is a Canadian video game producer and a host of G4's program The Electric Playground.
Biography
Raymond graduated from McGill University with a Bachelors of Science in computer science. She started her career as a programmer developing educational games for IBM and consulting in Microsoft’s Advanced Research Group.[3] Her first job in the video game industry was programming games for Sony. A few years later, she moved into a producer role at EA, and she has since been producing games.[4] Raymond was the producer of The Sims Online video game,[5] but most recently, she was the lead producer of Ubisoft Montreal's action-adventure game Assassin's Creed.[6]
She also has a degree in fine arts.[3]
She is a member of the Quebec board of directors of LOVE, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing youth violence in Canada.[3][7]
