Hiding Place was a rock band from Scotland.
History
The band released 3 singles for RCA, before being dropped after the Sony buyout. The first 2 were only available on CD, and the third on CD and 7" vinyl. They completed their album, Secrets and Passers-by, and released it independently through Blue Pie/INgrooves sometime in 2007. They also signed a new record deal with Total Impact Records and planned to enter the studio with producer and Skunk Anansie/Inner Mantra guitarist Ace at the start of 2007.
Part way through 2007 they announced on their myspace that after "months and years of ups and downs" the band would split.
David and Derek have since joined up with ex-members of Fony and Scenes in the band Black Arc.
