In zoology, a graminivore (not to be confused a granivore) is an herbivorous animal that feeds primarily on plants of the family Poaceae, better known as the "true" grasses. As such, horses, cattle, capybara, hippopotamuses, grasshoppers, geese, and giant pandas would be examples of graminivores.
