Gordon Thomson (born March 3, 1945) is a Canadian actor who found great success on American television in the ABC prime-time soap opera Dynasty from 1982 to 1989, playing the villainous Adam Carrington, son of Blake Carrington (John Forsythe) and Alexis Colby (Joan Collins).
During the 1985-1986 season, Thomson also appeared in three episodes of the Dynasty spin-off, The Colbys. In 1991, Thomson was unable to reprise his role as "Adam" in the TV mini-series Dynasty: The Reunion and was replaced by actor Robin Sachs.
Prior to Dynasty, Thomson appeared in the now-defunct ABC daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope. His first role, however, was as young Michael Stewart, Jr. on the Canadian television serial High Hopes. After Dynasty was cancelled, Thomson returned to daytime soaps, with prominent roles on The Young and the Restless and the now-defunct series Santa Barbara and Sunset Beach.
In 2006, Thomson appeared in the Academy Award nominated film, Little Miss Sunshine.
