Frontenac (provincial electoral district)

Frontenac is a provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. Located in the Centre-du-Québec region, the riding was created in 1972 after being part of the Megantic district from 1867 to 1970. Previously, Frontenac was in the Estrie region from 1912 to 1973. It includes the city of Thetford Mines and the municipality of Disraeli and Broughton area.
The riding is named after former governor of New France, Louis de Buade de Frontenac.
