Freel Peak is a mountain located in the Carson Range near Lake Tahoe in California. The peak, located on the El Dorado-Alpine County borderline, rises to an elevation of 10,881 ft (3,317 m), which is both the highpoint of El Dorado County and the Carson Range.[1] Due to the high elevation, most of the precipitation that falls on the mountain is snow.[2]
