Classfication

Classification is important for Paralympic atheletes - after classfication, atheletes can compete in a fair situation. 7-a-side football is for celebral palsy sufferers only, so athletes who classify as CP5-CP8 can take part in this sport.

Event

Since there is classification, there may be more than 1 medal in a single event. For example, only 1 medal is awarded in the men's 100 metres at the Summer Olympics, but there will be more than 10 medals in the same event at the Paralympics. At the Paralymics, men and women compete in the same event in Equestrianism, but only dressage is competed.
