Fairlawn is a residential neighborhood located in southeastWashington, D.C. It is bounded by Interstate 295 to the northwest, Pennsylvania Avenue SE to the northeast, Minnesota Avenue SE to the southeast, and Good Hope Road to the southwest. It is located directly across I-295 from Poplar Point, a waterfront park on the Anacostia River that may be host to a new Major League Soccer stadium. Also see article on Anacostia.
