DVD-RW2 is a new format of the DVD group. It has been approved by the DVD Forum. One of the forms it comes in is a Dual-Layer writer which goes into a USB 2.0 port on a computer. An example of this is manufactured by a company called BTC. Sony has also used the format on one of their newer DVD Recorders. Currently this is not a widespread format of DVD.
