The Copa Sudamericana 2008 tournament will be the seventh edition of the Copa Sudamericana football tournament. The draw for the tournament took place on June 10, 2008 in Buenos Aires and the competition will be played between July 30 and December 3.[1] Arsenal de Sarandí are the defending champions, having won the trophy the previous season.

A preliminary round will start the Copa Sudamericana. All the second placed teams from each South American country, excluding Brazil and Argentina, will contest this round. Four winners procede to the First Round. Team #1 plays at home first.
