Connie Hedegaard (born September 15, 1960) was the Danish Minister for the Environment from August 2, 2004 to November 23, 2007, as member of the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen I and II, and has been the Minister for Climate and Energy since November 23, 2007 as member of the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen III. She is a member of the Conservative People's Party, and has been a member of the parliament (Folketing) from January 10, 1984 to October 3, 1990 and again since the 2005 Danish parliamentary election. Prior to becoming a minister, she was working as a journalist at the television news magazine Deadline.
