Clarens around 1882

Clarens is a small village in the municipality of Montreux, in the canton of Vaud, in Switzerland.

Here the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky wrote his ballets The Rite of Spring and Pulcinella, and Tchaikovsky his Violin Concerto in Re M in march 1878.
