Canadian Natural Resources Limited (TSXCNQ NYSECNQ) is an oil and natural gas exploration, development and production company based in Calgary, Alberta. Operations are focused in Western Canada, the North Sea and offshore West Africa. Currently CNRL is building an Oilsands Plant north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. It ranks number 279 on the Forbes Global 2000 list (2008 edition).

Besides the Calgary, Alberta headquarters, CNRL has several field offices in Alberta, British Columbia, as well as international offices in Angola, Côte d'Ivoire and Scotland.

An extra division focuses on horizontal drilling for production from Oil Sands.

CNRL also has a midstream division.

It was announced on September 14, 2006 that Anadarko Petroleum Corporation would sell their Canadian subsidiary, Anadarko Canada Corp., to CNRL for an estimated $4.24 billion USD. [2]

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. exports to many various countries located across the world, such as India, U.A.E, China, USA, and Mexico.
