California gubernatorial election, 2010

The California gubernatorial primary election of 2010 will be held on June 8, 2010. The California gubernatorial election will be held on November 2, 2010, and will include the races for the Governor of California, Lieutenant Governor of California, Secretary of State of California, Attorney General of California, California State Controller, California State Treasurer, California State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and California Insurance Commissioner. The winning candidates will serve a four year term from 2011 to 2015. All constitutional office holders are prohibited from serving more than two terms in the same position. The incumbent, Arnold Schwarzenegger (R), will be prohibited from seeking a third term under California's existing term limit laws.
