Barton Robert Johnson (born December 13, 1970, Hollywood, California), an American actor best known for his role as Coach Jack Bolton, father of the hero in High School Musical and High School Musical 2.
Personal
Johnson is married to the actress Robyn Lively. They have three children: Baylen, Kate and newborn son Wyatt Blake. Johnson is also the brother in law of actress Blake Lively and actor Eric Lively.
Career
High School Musical
In High School Musical, Johnson plays the father of Troy Bolton (played by Zac Efron)and he is the coach of the East High basketball team on which Troy plays. He has a great relationship with Zac Efron even though there is an age difference between them.
Directing
In 2007, Johnson wrapped the shoot of his first job as a writer / director on a film called "The Run", filmed in Paraguay.
Non-acting
Johnson owns a high-end Bed & Breakfast, the Johnson Mill (www.johnsonmill.com), in Midway, Utah. This was named by Redbook Magazine one of the four most romantic in the country.
