Candidates who are not on any state ballots, withdrew from the race, suspended their presidential campaign, or failed to earn their party's nomination are listed separately. All lists are in alphabetical order by Presidential candidate.

The two major parties in the United States are the Democratic and the Republican parties which are on the ballot in all fifty States and the District of Columbia.
