The 2008 Summer Paralympic Games, the thirteenth Paralympics, will be held in Beijing, China from September 6 - 17, 2008. Mainland China is expected to field the most athletes. As with the 2008 Summer Olympics, equestrian events will be held in Hong Kong and sailing events in Qingdao.
On June 26, 2005, The Beijing Olympic Committee announced that the slogan for the 2008 Olympics will be "One World, One Dream" (simplified Chinese: 同一个世界 同一个梦想; traditional Chinese: 同一個世界 同一個夢想). This will be the same slogan for the two events. Twenty sports are on the program:

Rowing will make its first appearance in the Paralympics at these games.

There are 19 competiton venues will head match of 2008 Summer Paralympics(17 in Beijing, and each in Qingdao and Hong Kong,the number of trainning venues is 19.

Emblem
Emblem of 2008 Summer Paralympic
The emblem is like a chinese character "之"(pinyin: zhī), it also like a motion athelete. The color of the emblem, Red means sun,blue means sky,green means ground, the consists means "Sky, Ground and Human", that means "Sky and Human be one", which is old philosophy of ancient China.[1]
Slogan
The slogan is the same as 2008 Summer Olympic, "One World, One Dream".
Mascots

The Mascot is a cow named "Lele", her full name is "Funiu Lele"(simplified Chinese: 福牛乐乐), "Funiu" is to cohesion with "Friendlies"(Fuwa), means "Lucky Cow".
Cow symbolic of a down-to-earth, diligent, staunch and never-say-die spirit, are adopted to show the unremitting spirit of athletes with a disability in being the best they can be. It dovetails with the upbeat spirit of Paralympians and the concept of "Transcendence, Equality, Integration" of the Beijing Paralympic Games. [2]
Torch relay
In June 2008, the Beijing Games' Organizing Committee announced that the planned international torch relay for the Paralympic Games had been cancelled. The Committee stated that the relay was being cancelled to enable the Chinese government to "focus on the rescue and relief work" following the Sichuan earthquake. The torch relay will be held exclusively within China.[3]
